The most iconic Bugatti frame in its rarest and most luxurious version. In the 1980s, Ettore Bugatti's 647 and 649 series turned the eyewear world upside down by introducing the infamous teardrop shape, which became known as «sad eyes». At the same time, an oversized enamel logo was placed on the middle brow, reminiscent of Bugatti's automobile design. Extremely bold and elegant, the 64754 remains an inspiration and a design classic to this day.
Ettore Bugatti was a unique figure of the first half of the century, belonging to a well-known family rich in creative talent. To the Bugattis we owe a wealth of refined and artistic creations, from finely inlaid furniture to engraved silverware, from sculpture to jewelry, from sunglasses to automobiles of great class. The Bugatti mark has been first across the finishing line more than any other, and its racing record is still unequalled today.
Ettore Bugatti is known for making some of the finest luxury cars and some of the most extravagant eyewear. While the Bugatti Veyron remains the most expensive automobile produced in series, the 64754 model aces the hole with a stunning front shape and a uniquely curved style. A flawless construction of gold metal elegantly wrapped in luxurious python leather, oversized logos on the middle brow and temples.
As worn by Miles Davis and Rick Ross.
